The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Misamis Occidental field office has conducted the 2-day training workshop on Performance Strategic Management System (PSMS) to selected government employees and the department heads of Ozamiz LGU.
The training workshop was made to make government employees more effective and more focus on rendering satisfactory service to the tax payers.
CSC Provincial Director Wulfreda Tapulgo conducted the training facilitated by the Human Resource Management Office.
The training reflected 16 hours on the certificate of participation of each employee who completed the 2-day training workshop.
During the closing program, Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog Sr., and Vice-Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog-Echavez talked on the negative attitudes of some employees.
Vice-Mayor Echavez reiterated her would be position of terminating erring employees and impose on no hiring policy amidst City Hall’s sound fiscal management and the budget would be put into some projects instead of paying the wages of the supposedly employees but not working as one.
While Mayor Aldong on the other hand was urging those employees who are on the hide to run away from some indebtedness to stop from hiding, report to their work regularly and face whatever obligations they have.
“The reason of the training is to enhance the effectiveness of the government employees, but how could be an employee be as effective as their mandate when they are always not in the office to serve their clients”, Mayor Aldong said.
